Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the Embassy Suites was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious, with a separate bedroom and lounge area, but cleanliness fell short with musty linen issues. The service, while staff were friendly and trying to remedy the situation, also had some hiccups. The location was convenient for exploring downtown Lincoln but lacked a bit of charm. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with a great made-to-order omelette but also poor-quality items like tasteless scrambled eggs. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel had a very strong smoke smell in the rooms, making it uncomfortable for us. Despite the eyes burning every morning and the persistent smell greeted us each time we entered, the breakfast and WiFi services were satisfactory. The room temperature never cooled down even with the thermostat set below 65, which was frustrating. On the positive side, the location was sunny and inviting, allowing us to walk to downtown easily and enjoy the nearby stadium. However, this ideal location was marred by a cricket in the bathroom that affected the cleanliness, yet it was within walking distance of various restaurants and activities in the Haymarket and downtown areas. Overall, the excellent service, notably the omelet breakfast and cocktail reception, were impressive but were overshadowed by the inconvenience of the room conditions.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, overlooking the beautiful atrium with a nice area for relaxation. The service was friendly, and the location was perfect for my activities in Lincoln. However, the dining experience had its ups and downs. Overall, a good value for the money.
